BRAKING® – Complete Braking System

Innovative and customizable brakes system. The master cylinder has two easily replaceable pistons with two different diameters (9 mm. or 10 mm.), to allow to change the power and the modularity of the brakes, based on the type of track or the riders feeling.

• Innovative design of the complete system: Forging, CNC machining and high quality finishing for all the components of the braking system.
• Higher pressure inside the overall system compared to the common braking system available on the market.
• The brake system works at higher operating pressures than existing designs with the same lever force. The higher pressure within the system allows greater stopping power. At the same time, it allows the lever modulation to be very sensitive, with only a small movement of the lever. This is the right compromise to get powerful braking and sensitive control at your fingertips.
• The higher pressure also allows a reduction in force that the rider has to apply to the lever, reducing fatigue.

MASTER CYLINDER
The Master cylinder has been developed to separate the mechanical function from the hydraulic, keeping them independent from each other.

Hydraulic Function: an innovative system of interchangeable hydraulic cylinder cartridges containing different-sized pistons. The different diameters available allow the user to vary the amount of brake fluid moved by the piston and/or the speed/pressure at which the fluid is moved.
Mechanical function: the lever can be adjusted regardless of the piston position, to get the ergonomics perfectly tailored to each rider. The piston position can be adjusted to reduce the lever stroke.
Main Body: Aluminum body is manufactured with a high quality forging and CNC machining. Future development will allow the use of different materials to build the main body and associated components.

CALIPER
Caliper produced with high quality forgings, CNC machining and hard anodizing in order to obtain a higher level of surface and structural strength, with the purpose of functioning at higher working pressures. The diameter of the caliper pistons are 26 mm, in order to have an effective and powerful brake, maintaining an optimal feeling and control for the rider. The external shape of the caliper is optimized in order to maximize the heat exchange surface of the body and the structural resistance, so as to properly sustain all the possible thermal and mechanical stresses. Both caliper and pistons are made of high strength aluminum alloy to reduce weight. The pistons are subjected to hard anodizing in order to increase the resistance and reduce the wear, extending the product overall life.
