The item/s need to be returned to Cogent Industries within 5 business days after it was delivered to you. Return it with a copy of your invoice, the reason for the return, in the original product packaging, unused, not fitted and it must be in a sellable condition.
We recommend that you return your items via registered post or courier. The cost of returns will be for your account. Cogent Industries does not take title to returned items until the item/s arrives at our premises. We will examine the returned goods and notify you accordingly, within a reasonable period of time. A standard 10% handling fee will be charged for all returns (excluding the original shipping cost on your order).
If the item is returned as a result of our error (damaged, defective, wrong item sent, etc), Cogent Industries will arrange and pay for the collection of the item from you with our Couriers and replace it with the correct item. A refund may be issued, at our discretion, without requiring a return.
If the product was used for its intended purpose and design and in accordance with the product’s instructions and/or user manual and is found by the customer to be faulty, Cogent Industries will liaise with the Supplier supplying on behalf of the customer in terms of replacement or repair. Proof of purchase is required. No refunds, repairs or exchanges will be affected on purchases where the products have been misused or purposely damaged. There may be a courier cost to have certain products repaired. This cost is for the customer’s account and will be quoted upfront.
